This poem pairs well with vigorous actions! Saw your arms back and forth as you describe the saw. Pay close attention to the “s” sounds in the poem, as well. How crisp and clear can you make them? How crisp and clear can you make the “t” sound? Crisp and clear, crisp and clear… just like an Autumn day!

To and fro, to and fro.
See the saw so swiftly go.
Little saw, do not tire.
Cut the wood for Autumn's fire.
Cut the logs one by one.
'Til the pile is all done.
